Our August newsletter is here, and we've got exciting news. Next month heralds the start of Midlands Smile Centres' Oral Health Month, which is all about keeping your teeth in the best possible condition, and the ways in which you can achieve this.
To give you a head start, this month we've provided you with some tricks for keeping your teeth healthy. You can also find the latest news and events happening at our practices around Birmingham. Read on to find out more.
How To Improve Your Dental Health
Looking after your teeth is important. You only get one adult set, and once they're gone, they're gone. Because of this, maintaining a good cleaning regime and habits is vital for ensuring your teeth stay strong and healthy.
Next month is MSC's Oral Health Month. To start with improving your dental health, try and get into these dental health habits for next month:
- Brush Twice a Day - Simply brushing your teeth twice a day is a great way to help eliminate plaque on your teeth and keep them healthy.
- Chew Sugar-Free Chewing Gum - Gum does a great job of dislodging food from around and between the teeth, helping to reduce tooth decay. The best time for this is after you've eaten.
- Drink water - Drinking water is a good way to neutralise the pH level inside your mouth. This helps to prevent the breakdown of enamel on your teeth, keeping your teeth stronger, for longer.
Following good dental habits can improve your oral health, and save you money on more expensive dental treatments.
